Make the menu page first, then print the code.

A QR code is only an address. The useful part is a fast, readable menu page that remains under your control and can be updated without reprinting the code.

Put a project on the bench

Publish a stable menu address

Use a short HTTPS address on the business domain. The page should show categories, item names, current prices and necessary notes as normal text, without forcing a PDF download.

Generate a static code

Create the code for the final address, use black on white with a clear quiet zone, and export SVG for the designer or printer. Avoid redirect services that may introduce tracking or expiry.

Test at the table

Scan the printed proof with iPhone and Android devices from the expected sitting distance and under venue lighting. Keep a readable printed menu or price list available as an alternative.
